My favorite book
during my childhood was Franklin fibs.
Franklin in an attempt to impress his friends and also to feel accepted, he says
he can eat 76 flies in the blink of an eye. Then now that I am grown up and
mature, I enjoy reading the Harry Potter Series. The series is about an
orphaned boy who finds out that he is the only one that can defeat the Dark
Wizard, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
I enjoyed Franklin Fibs because it was a morality
tale about little white lies. I also loved talking turtles at the time. I found
Franklin to be specifically interesting because he always learned some kind of
lesson in each book. These learning opportunities helped me to develop a sense
of right and wrong and I believe it was the beginning of the developing of a
moral compass. I was able to learn the importance of always being truthful and
honest. I also learned that you do not need to show off and one up your
friends. This often leads to estrangement and hurt feelings.
